Artspace Cinderford explored our 2024 Festival theme The Earth Beneath Our Feet working directly with groups with additional barriers to cultural engagement, including Disability/Learning Difference/Health need (inc Mental Health) /Sensory Impairment and Newly arrived Non-English Communities.
Led by Catherine Hawkridge, the groups used creative methods to explore the themes of soil health & food stories to develop community awareness & encourage mindful growing & eating whilst reengaging/engaging communities who have additional barriers to cultural engagement.
Established in 1988, Artspace Cinderford is an arts and education-based charity based at the New Mercury Arts Centre in the Forest of Dean.
