THE MARCH FLARE in Llandogo
Join us at The March Flare in Llandogo to celebrate the awakening buds of Spring on the 21st and 22nd of March!
On Friday we welcome you to The Still Point, a gentle evening of song, words and sounds to celebrate the turning of the year through immersive music inspired by the Spring Equinox.
7pm, St Oudoceus Church, Llandogo. Book tickets for The Still Point here.
On Saturday, the day will be full of workshops, gently waking up the earth, trees and ourselves with spring songs, shared stories and woven headdresses before the fire procession through the village and fields.
At 1.15 and at 3.15 Shanna from Harebell and Bee will be offering a chance to make your own Flower Crown.
From 2-4 there is a chance to Sing in Spring with Jenn Singleton.
For Sing in Spring and Flower Crown Workshops, check out the upcoming events page to learn more!
Later in the afternoon there will be a Bake Off Simnel Cake competition – more info from the Village Hall.
At 6pm we will gather on the Green by The Sloop and the Church. We will walk together through Llandogo under the moon, fire torches in hand – waking up the world and soaking up the change of the season. Bring brooms, pots and pans, shakers and instruments to blast away the cobwebs and give Spring the welcome it deserves. Sign up to be a fire torch bearer in the procession, for free, here!
We will head to the Village Hall to share a feast of food, music and merriment – with space for you to sing songs and tell stories in the evening. Plus guest performances from Felix and Gavin!
There will be plenty of performances and workshops to get involved in – check out the upcoming events page to learn more!
