Less than 3% of the world’s water is freshwater and less than 1% of that (less than 0.03% of total water) is available for our survival – the rest is locked in ice or deep underground. This stunning fact inspired the 2016 theme of ‘Water and Global Arteries’.
Mae llai na 3% o ddŵr y byd yn ddŵr croyw ac mae llai nag 1% o hwnnw (llai na 0.03% o gyfanswm y dŵr) ar gael i ni allu goroesi – mae’r gweddill ar ffurf rhew neu’n ddwfn o dan y ddaear. Y ffaith syfrdanol hon a ysbrydolodd thema 2016 ‘Dŵr ac Afonydd Byd-eang’.
The theatrical narrative followed the travelling ‘Water Ones’ with their magical tea made in a Samovar.
Dilynodd y naratif theatrig daith y ‘Rhai yn y Dŵr’ gyda’u te hudolus wedi’i wneud mewn Samofar.
